The Trader

My Name is Bharat Jhunjhunwala

I am a full-time professional trader, technical analyst, financial educator, author, vlogger, and speaker. Trading is not a side project or a passion pursued alongside a corporate career — it is my profession, my research, and my life's work.

The Journey

I began trading in 2005. Like most traders, my early years were a mixture of excitement, hard lessons, and the gradual realisation that markets cannot be predicted — they can only be read. That shift in perspective changed everything.

Over two decades I have developed a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to market analysis that treats price, volume, breadth, and intermarket relationships as one integrated language. I do not predict where markets will go. I study what they are actually doing — through Price Action and Market Structure, Volume Price Analysis, Breadth Analysis and Situational Awareness, Momentum Analysis, and Intermarket Relationships — and let the evidence guide every decision.

This approach spans every major asset class: equities, commodities, currencies, and fixed income. Markets do not exist in isolation. Understanding how they influence each other — how bond yields affect equities, how the dollar moves commodities, how sector rotation signals broader market health — is what separates reactive traders from genuinely informed ones.

The philosophy is simple: follow what markets say, not what you think they should do. Remove opinion. Remove prediction. Read structure, read momentum, read context — and act on evidence.

The Credentials

I am a Chartered Market Technician (CMT). I hold the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) designation from the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA), the Master of Financial and Technical Analysis (MFTA), and I am a Member of the Society of Technical Analysts (MSTA) in the UK. These qualifications represent the highest level of professional recognition available in technical analysis globally. I pursued them for the rigour and depth of knowledge they required me to develop — not for the certificates.
